Indeed when transferring a phpbb forum (not tested other) to MyBB all private messages are found not read, so this option would be convenient for users.
I think it should not be too difficult to program.

En effet lors du transfert d'un forum phpbb (les autres pas testés) vers mybb tous les messages privés se retrouvent non lus, alors une telle option serait bien pratique pour les utilisateurs.
Je pense que ça ne doit pas être trop difficile à programmer.
