The mybb mass mail needs some enhancing, both in throwing more specific errors when something is wrong and making it more flexible.

Errors:
Displaying a more specific error would help to narrow down some problems as to why the mailing process isn't accepting the options you selected.

For example, when trying to send a mass mail to say a group, of which none of the users within that group allow emails from administrators, it throws out a general "Your search criteria did not return any users. Please adjust your criteria and try again" error. It would be much easier to correct had the error said something along these lines: "Unfortunately a user(s) within the group you selected isn't receiving emails from administrators, please change your search criteria."

Enhancements:
I'd like to see the ability to either import a file (.txt, .doc, .csv, .xls, etc.) containing user name information or manually input more than 1 user to send a mass email and/or PM to.

For example, maybe a text area and an upload file section where I can either manually type in the specific user(s) or upload a file that contains a list of users I want to send the message to, rather than selecting a specific user group or messing with the post count parameters.

Applicable uses:
On a forum I run and manage, I have a lot of users that haven't logged in for quite some time. So what I did was run a query against my database and found all of the users who haven't signed in since "X" date. I then exported that entire list, so that I could compile a mass message to try and get them to become more active again.

Having the ability to either upload a file that contained all of the usernames or an area to manually type them in and/or copy/paste them in would be a great enhancement and save a lot of time.
