Once you send a private message there is no way back, but mostly recivers not reads pm at the moment, so i think sender can have a ability to change message before reciver reads it. also this can be reduce database useage. Just think about it you dont have to send a second pm for add something or change something if your pm is still unread.

    You can cancel pm from tracking page but you cant edit it. This idea about editig :) You have to cancel that pm first and send it again, so you will send a delete query for it first than a write query again for sending it again. but update query can be more useful for this.

  6. I constantly want to edit my PMs after I've sent them (of course if they are unread), so I've found myself going into phpMyAdmin to edit the PMs, which is a little annoying.

    I'm in full support of this.

  9. Does this not affect users privacy? For example what if someone was appearing invisible for that session, they would no longer be totally invisible, as you could check if they had read you PM. Perhaps a short "grace period" similar to what gmail has?
