Drag N Drop Forum Management

I propose that the forum management section of the admin cp should be drag and drop so you can easily drag a forum above another to switch orders and move forums into different categories by dragging and dropping.

  3. I don't really know if this is necessary as the current one is working perfectly. And while you might be wanting to increase the usability of the forum management. I'm thinking that it's not essential, I mean, I'm assuming that all MyBB admin's can probably deal with the "complicated" arrangement of the forums :)

  8. A lot of the ideas are not needed. But if a forum software was purely built for what was needed, would it succeed? No. All successful forum software has lots of helpful extra features.

  13. For those who say it's "bloated": If you don't like it, don't use it.
    We can have two options of re-organizing the forums: One is the current, the "priority" system, and the other is the one suggested here, the drag-drop system.

  15. This will be a great idea, as the current system will be hard to understand for a newbie (atleast it was hard for me when i started using MyBB).
    This can reduce a lot of hassle.

  20. I really like this idea. Then I wouldn't have to fumble with a million numbers to get some forums in order. It would also make it match the permissions system (yay)...

  24. Yes, would make a sensible usability addition. Sure it's not "needed", but then what is? That's not how you should decide what features to add. It would improve the usability for the majority of board operators.
