I have an idea of creating a mod that lets users to use their webcams to create avatar, (like facebook) in this page http://community.mybb.com/usercp.php?action=avatar or their pictures in a new thread or reply... because believe it or not there is people that they don't know how to take pictures from their webcams and upload them on the net XD and also they get lazier every day to do that.

AND if a person saw his friend real avatar on the forum , he will also like to join the forum, or at least they will talk about it ;) , probably while other friend or family around; and that is of course very important !

  2. I am currently working on this plugin. It will not take as much resource as you might the whole cam part is flash (which will run client-side) and then uploads the picture with a php file much like the normal avatar upload page's scrip does. It shouldnt take too long to complete.
