Auto Ban Users who don't validate their email

I been thinking that a good or decent way to fight spammers is to provide administrators the option to automatically ban an account that has not validated their email after a set amount of time (for example, 5 days). Be sure to allow Admins the option to choose their own custom time as well, since I'm sure there are some people who would like an account to be auto banned or deleted after they don't validate their email after a very long period of time (1 year for example) to keep their forum tidy. I would love to have this on my forum.
