Add Toolbar Items

This would be a small section in the Admin CP that would allow the user to add new buttons to the MyCode toolbar. It would allow the user to set the name, url to the "icon", and what the button puts in the textarea when clicked.

For instance:

Name: YouTube
Icon URL: /images/youtube.gif
Input: [youtube]$1[/youtube]

or something like that...

  1. The toolbar uses javascript so we can't use conventional coding to fetch it from the database.

  2. "conventional coding"...I take it that this can still be achieved though? You should be able to do it with php generated Javascript.

    If you can't do this for a feature I'll have a go at making it :P

  3. I agree, it would be much nicer if we can add new BBCode from the Admin CP, rather than have to create a plugin.

  4. I think this is an interesting idea, and it isn't impossible. I'd think it would make it a lot easier for people than editing javascript files (more potential for screwing up).
