Ability to Mark Threads Solved

The idea is simple...have a toggle setting for having a "SOLVED" setting for each topic.

Most Forums are used for support and it would be nice to have a toggle checkbox inside the administration configuration to enable a 'SOLVED' status to be given to each topic...so that users can mark their threads solved OR mods/admins could.

I know there is a plugin from 2008 for this...but that was 2 years ago and I'm not going to run a plugin that is that old on a new install of MyBB. This type of function should be built into the core and should be toggle-able off/on.

  1. I think MyBB 1.6 will have thread title prefixes; so just add the "Solved" prefix.

Not really something that would be in core as it's not going to have a use on a lot of forums, from what I've seen most forums are something other than support, and if this was inbuilt it'd be aimed at a specific type of forum which isn't really how we do things. I've almost finished a plugin for this though, been working on it for a while.
